Thanks Ros. We were sat at a cafe as you do. Wife was reading as usual and I sketched this in baking heat with the sun at just after noon so the light was flat.

A lovely painting Derek! The colours are very good and one can feel the heat surrounding the buildings. I like the people in it too.

19 x 26 cms on paper. Worked from sketch and photo I did on the spot in September. I have changed the direction of the light completely. I think I might mount and frame it with the At Sarlat work in this gallery, as a pair.
