Lovely piece of modern art look great in a fancy frame in a contemporary gallery somewhere, nice work.

Cheers dennis, you're luring me into your own personal family owned for centuries fancy frame emporium as that's not the first time you've daid this. Much appreciated.

Your getting very good at these abstracts great colours

I like it Derek, the reflection of the figure and lamp post very nice touch. At least your lamp post is straight not like my church spire! Very interesting painting.

Superb Derek full of interesting colours and intrigue

Very exciting image ,very strong

You have established your own style that I can recognise immediately that this is your work. Another lovely piece of work.

very lively reflection on the floor. lovely atmosphere.

Cheers Cliff, Carole, dennis, Satu, David, Vyora and Gerogiana,

A great feeling of energy and movement in this Derek...I like the visible brushstrokes and great colour choices.

Thanks Chandra but what&#39;s a brush?<br /> The thing I am liking more using the cards is that choosing and then applying exact colour is quite difficult as the palette get in a mess, they lap over and depends on the size of the card. I am enjoying it.

A very lively piece, Derek. Excellent variation of marks and textures.

B brilliant. Just enough space created by the gaps in the middle if that makes any sense at all.

Thanks Gudrun at least I knew when to stop in this case.

20 x 28cm on Tiziano Pastel paper. Image lifted and highly modified from a ref library photo in WetCanvas. I wanted to use a lot of the colours I had on the palette.
