Like this a lot Denis, well done.

A fascinating background story to an interesting and eye catching painting Denis.

Really interesting and I like your imaginative painting style

Like this - style, composition and colours.

Son Paul suggested a title. "Horses for Corsairs". Sharp! Nice one son!

An imaginary and stylised version of Columbus' first journey of four to the Americas. His Fleet, the smallest Nina, the Pinta, and the large Santa Maria, embalked in August 1492. Shown In mid Ocean in a storm I have imagined they are being towed by three giant seahorses as designed initially in 1910 by Bertram Mackennal for UK George V postage stamps. Landfall in the Bahamas Islands was achieved on 12th October 1492 after 70 days of travelling 4444 miles, much further than Columbus had envisaged. Weird?
