Boats and rocks

Lovely impressionistic work Dennis.

Another beauty, Dennis. I really love the lighter palette you are using these days. Lovely sky and light on the water.

Agree with Jennifer, Dennis, the lighter palette you are using is producing some lovely work - particularly like the pink sky on this one.

Splendid Dennis very Turneresque in colouring ...... I think I just invented a new word 😄

Many thanks Jenny and well invented Dermot

Soft and dreamy Dennis...not you, the painting!lol Love your impression of the foreground rocks...simple but very effective.

Well another nicely painted piece (as usual). Details are kept simple, colors are nicely balanced. Approved!

Used to be Fiona and glad you approve Ivan

You're just running these off effortlessly aren't you Dennis. Lovely light and reflections.

Many thanks Marjorie I don't know about effort

I like this image. what do you prime your mdf with to get watercolour to work on it? I've tried but the surface always seems greasy to me.

Lovely loose washes, Dennis. The light is very well captured.

I used acrylic binding medium on this one Matthew and many thanks Seok
