Forth Road Bridge

Forth Road Bridge
Comments

This must be from Queensferry??? I remember crossing this bridge on a wet and windy night. A mimibus full of men on their way home had been almost blown off the bridge. They only let us cross in order to transport some passengers to safety the other side. Once all were safe, they closed the bridge. The wind was so strong that the men were clinging to the posts to prevent being blown away!! It was terrifying. Your painting recounts all of this to me.

Many thanks Jennifer glad you all survived
