Very evocative. Love the colours and composition. It's not a place I would wish on anyone. I hope tomorrow brings better light so I can do some work! No need for sunglasses here ...

Poor you Gudrun. I did find out it's very Danish round here so maybe there's a bit of Viking in me

Anybody out there depressed come on it ain't weakness 😎

The colours and marks suggest the harshness but they also suggest a strength. One to make you think Dennis.....and be thankful.

Very dramatic Dennis

I see sunshine here because it's from places like this, that strength, hope and new concepts are born.

So evocative - a painting I could look at a long time, the more you look the more you see.

Many thanks Fiona George Denise and Heather

This is a dark, dark place you’re in Dennis. Get out quick into the light. This painting drags the viewer into places better avoided. I know we shouldn’t bury our head into the sand but too much has gone on this year and we need to embrace the warmer side of humanity during these difficult times. Clever stuff though Dennis. Your recent comments on my work were very much appreciated, thank you.

Most of humanity are good even great and yes it's been a hard year mentally and I hope the light prevails which it always does in the end 😎

A great reminder of what it could be like for anyone who fell on hard times of some sort. This is a very apt painting for 2020 Dennis. I like this protest against the commercial Xmas shopping frenzy created by the huge Corporations. Christmas is not about Shopping...it's about helping people out of this dark painting into the light, whenever you can. Well done boyo!!!

This is so atmospheric, Dennis, really like the palette. (With a different title it wouldn’t seem so bleak - in fact, if you turn it upside down it could be a wet street with a brightening sky on the horizon.)

Many thanks Jennifer very nice words and Jenny yes it depends on how you look at things 😎

Very sombre painting Dennis, it does make you stop and think that there by the grace of god go I.
