Many thanks Fiona I have bought a new art desk with a tiltable top a couple of drawers etc and able to comfortably work in oils.it has a side panel that slides out. Only eighty four quid but I'm impressed how sturdy it is. By the way I am not trying to sell or anything

That sounds like a good buy Dennis, the sliding side panel sounds handy is it big enough to put your palette on etc? Sure you’re not on commission....lol Have you settled in and unpacked all your boxes?

Not unpacked yet Fiona had a nasty bug for about five weeks. Yes but it's on the left hand side ey you can't have it all and it's really hard to assemble
