Maybe a detail or two higher up, it's all happening at the bottom? Or crop the top a bit?

Add more detail first I think and see

Nice one, reminds me of the trams in Hong Kong

I like the way the way my eyes are drawn to the foreground detail at the lower part of the image

Maybe a bit of orange at the top of one of the buildings but if you did crop off the top , you would have a very energetic and strong scene Dennis .

Many thanks Darragh I am altering contrast at the moment bringing a more of a unity I hope

Many thanks Sarah great idea always the option of a crop as well so not worried yet

Not too much Dennis.....perhaps a few heavier telegraph wires....maybe? I like what's happening in the bottom half though!

I like it just the way it is.

Many thanks Fiona that's what I thought a few street ornaments etc

I like it the way it is - just shows how we are all different. What I would suggest, to give it a bit more sparkle, is just a few more bits of white in strategic places - probably some against the darkest darks in the foreground - white number plate?

dennis you are the expert never too much detail and your colours are fine David Harrison

Love the detail you have put in really completes this masterpiece Dennis. I also agree with Sarah about a bit more of the orange in the building. I would not crop as I like the detail at the top of the buildings.

Many thanks Rebecca agree Michael cheers David and Carole very much appreciated

Yes, a bit more colour/ contrast on the buildings and I also like Fiona's idea of stronger lines. Otherwise marvellous!

I think all the suggestions so far would work to make interesting paintings, but for me this works already. I really like the space and openness of the top half. Don't take it to far Dennis.

Many thanks Satu and George yes a thinking day today

A dynamic piece, Dennis, with all the lively movement of a great metropolis.

Many thanks Chandra very much appreciated

You've stirred up a hornet's nest here Dennis!

As for me, it is good as it is, Dennis. and there is a great feeling of a busy city.

Many thanks Marjorie no I don't think so the response has been so very immaculate. Cheers Cesare
