My favourite medium Dennis. As Gudrun said just full of light.

I do like the immediacy of this pastel, proving that you can use them in a loose way - it's the very careful, almost laboured look of pastel that has put me off it in the past, but this gives a whole new way of approaching them.

Stunning pastel, Dennis, gorgeous colours, that remembers me Utrillo's paintings. A very masterpiece, fascinating.

Many thanks Val and Robert yes they lend themselves to a wide range of techniques Robert save a heck of a lot of work. Will have to get a few more and as always plenty of white. I had to do this without any white
