I love the smudgy and indistinct quality to this painting, Dennis - suits the antiquity of Venice really well. Really lovely work.

Stunningly painted - full of atmosphere. I love the door to the lower left which for me is the main focal point.

I like the contrast of the loose washes and the bold lines that create the necessary tension in the painting. Well done, Dennis!
