I love naive art and this one appeals to me because of that. Being able to simplify is a real skill (and not one that I can own to sadly) and it has worked for this scene in spades.

I like this very much, Dennis. It captures the atmosphere of a typical English harbor beautifully, and the very skillful use of warm and cool hues works really well to add the requisite tension to the painting.
