Lovely. Reminds me of 'Ull and "Birds Love Humber Mud" stickers on the cars I passed on by bicycle...

Turner-esque. I really like this, Dennis. I must say I often prefer paintings with a subdued lighting than the more common strong sun/shade. And the skill required to paint more 'dull' weather well is at least the equal to that needed for high contrast scenes. It calls for excellent observation of the subtleties, and there are fewer 'devices' - such as shadows - to aid the artist. Nice composition here too, and a great range of marks. Overall a very well balanced painting.
