What's not to like dennis. Good on him to let us see this.

Superb again Dennis! Can i ask- do you ever suffer with artists block, i.e not knowing what to paint? As day after day you produce a painting as original and interesting as the last, and i don't know how you do it!!

It has transparency Dennis.

Thanks Derek yes I will thank him , I thought it was rubbish, it was because when I paint them I seem to be unable to see them as they are. I don't know why.

Thanks Joanne no not much really I just paint anything and sometimes they work sometimes they don't , I usually rearrange a lot so the painting is very different to the subject , I think that's the key to my success. If you can move things and eliminate and invent which usually takes lots of practice.

The light and shade in this is exquisite Dennis - the eye is really drawn through the painting to those little patches of light in the distance - I could almost be there.

Superb, Dennis. I love your palette. Such fresh Spring colours here and the dappled light enhances it all. Great calm atmosphere in this one, which reminds me of walks in the park in the Summer when I was a little girl. We had Park Keepers then, didn't we? If we had any today, they would all be in jail for correcting the vandals!!!
