This is lovely Dennis - however do you manage to create that wonderful inner glow to the colours? Do you underpainting first perhaps?

Hi Dennis - Thanks for the tip - I shall give it a try. I have actually used photoshop in the past to enhance photos. I have used a posterising filter to break up the image into various colours and then painted from that. I am ashamed to say that my knowledge of Photoshop is severely limited. One of these days I will take myself in hand and sit down with a book and work methodically through the program. One of these days!!
