I like this too. It has a more open feel too. The other one has a bit more drama and a sense of urgency somehow.

I prefer this one to the cropped "After the Rain" . The diagonal of the kerb was pretty strong in "After the Rain, slicing the picture in two. This version has more balance.

Dennis, prefer this one - agree with Gudrun, it has a much more open and spacious feel to it. An everyday scene made beautiful!

Mmm, love the colours, wish I was walking along there right now.

Nice job Dennis. As an exercise, I spent a couple of hours this morning trying to copy it in watercolour. It's almost ended up a muddy mess. I can never get those vivid colours but I shall persist.
