It is a perfect painting Dennis, I do love the walks with his friend.. :)

It may look a little to real for you Dennis, but to me it looks great. I love the contrast of the bright green grass with the dark reflections in the pool.

Thanks very much most appreciated

Thanks mate much appreciated

Cropping often can improve a composition but also the initial idea works best. I think in this case Inprefer this one, I like the sweep of the path around the water and those dark reflections are very good. The figures are quite nest the edge but the dog is looking towards the viewer and attracts the eye. Perhaps another figure placed in the gap between the furthest trees would help? Still another 'good un' in my view!

They get everywhere, that man & dog. This reminds me of the canal above The Bratch lock in Staffs.

Not quite your usual impressionistic take on the scene, but excellent nonetheless. Really like the reflections, and the strip of bracken running through the scene really divides it perfectly for me.

It's very good Dennis. The figure and dog make it.

Aww lovely! Great reflections Dennis.
