You&#39;ve certainly got atmosphere, and as one who tends to put too much detail in unless I give myself a stern talking to and a swift kick, I agree that it&#39;s often a case of the less the better. (This doesn&#39;t necessarily make me a devotee of the &#39;less is more&#39; school of thought, but that&#39;s an argument for another day and place.)<br /><br />That sky is about to explode.....

Thanks Robert nice comments and I agree less is not always more , that&#39;s why some paintings I do a lot more detail and others I keep simple it just depends on what I&#39;m painting. <br /><br />On this painting I thought it would be better simple .Thank you Robert for your comments.

You tried to obtain atmosphere and you got in bucket loads, a bit like the about to fall on that couple.

I find myself under clouds just like this, more often than not these days, dennis and know what&#39;s coming...the only difference yours is beautiful and I love the colours :)
