Remember them only too well Dennis, these have very similar colours to the old Oldhsm buses, before SELNEC took over. That is South East Lancashire and North East Cheshire, now Greater Manchester ( I think), still turn up late!

Thanks Stephen very much appreciated.

I was raised in the city of the red ones and I remember them well. I've still got one of the tickets they used to give you from the machine the clippie wore round his neck - thanks for the memories Dennis.

Thanks Michael we used jump of well before they had stopped , I laugh now when I think of life then and the health and safety rules of today . They don't know they're born springs to mind . I've got the Edward Wesson as well . He was a great artist , I never understood the attitude of the art establishment towards Edward Seago they don't seem to notice he ever existed . Art snobs I think.

Certainly do remember them Dennis, ours in Notts were red like Michael's. You could jump off just before the bus stopped if the conductor wasn't watching! Great scene.

You've captured this lively everyday scene very well, Dennis - great painting.

Thanks Carole and Jan I'm not sure about the composition of it any way there it is .

Superb, as usual, Dennis. Excellent composition, and wonderful urban atmosphere.
