Another beaut Dennis - do like these

I really like your abstracts Dennis you should do some more.

I like your adventurous ideas Dennis, this is really effective.

Thanks for info Dennis works great

I'm not generally a great fan of abstract painting but this has a cheery feel to it with a hint of woodland textures perhaps?

Yes, I looked and liked but always have that question in the back of my mind "what is it?" I know there isn't meant to be an answer but my realism thoughts ping out and there I am.

Thanks everyone much appreciated. Yes Derek i get the same feelings, but reality doesn't mean beautiful its in the eye of the beholder . This is based on nothing and it has no hidden meaning .its simply paint marks that's it and to some its beautiful to others its rubbish .lol

It could be the colours that are used, I too see woodland, and also eyes and tongues, even a hint of fossil in the bottom right, Marestail ( I have a few of these in coal and stone) the more you look the more you see. Nice work, dennis.

Thankyou C A much appreciated . Well if you see it then its there i may try and do some people on pol seem to like them and i like new and different challenges lets see where we go. Thankyou again C A

Very effective Dennis! I see trees , owls ,ferns and lots of earthy colours too!

This is not quite right in colour as I photographed it and it wouldn't come quite right but it gives a good idea of what its like . It was done by pouring on cheap poster paint from the works , then pressing newspaper on lightly and pulling off .when completely dry pour and spread pva then with your hands quickly spread it before it can loosen the paint . it dries to a high closs tile like finish which the photo hasn't captured . It was great fun doing it years ago .
