Dennis, sorry I've only just spotted this one. Thank you for showing me an example of how you start off. The smoothing out tool you use makes a big difference to the overall effect. Although I quite like the rough and ready look of this. I still wonder at the way you can achieve such detail ie the horses legs and thin shapes. It's an art in itself!
