abstract horse and jockey by dennis roberts

I really like this abstract take of the horse and jockey Dennis, there is no mistaking what it is and it really conveys the movement and excitement of the race.

Quite astonishing painting, dennis. Brilliant colours that make the subject almost jump out of the screen at the viewer. Very nice.

This is brilliant - I love all the broken and fragmented shapes and the choice of colour adds to the excitement. Great work.

Wow i never thought anyone would like this. However i myself do like it . I painted the image loosely to start with then i broke it up and moved the pieces around then filled in the gaps , i didn't take too much care about accuracy, Thankyou so much for commenting Christine C A and Thea much appreciated.

At first I thought this was a collage Dennis, but when you describe how you did it it IS. The vibrant flashes of colour (on the horse's neck in particular) did grab my attention. I do like it - as for myself, I'm having another mental block at the moment, can't get down to painting at all! I have painted in my mind but need to take that extra step.....ah well, perhaps tomorrow!
