Beautiful countryside Dennis, so tranquil and there's that fantastic light in the horizon again. Love it!

HI Charles this is painted with a mouse using windows paint program ,it is an area I walk regularly and I don't use a reference photo as I have painted this many times and skies hundreds of times in various mediums.

Hi Satu yes that light its not there really its artistic licence ,but it turns the ordinary into a painting with some oomph. lol

Lights and darks are nice in this one Dennis! We had buzzards our way last year! A wonderful sight! I have left a description of water based oils under my last painting! I don't think that your wife will mind the smell, at least this way there isn't a turpsy pong in the kitchen :) , even the non-smelling substitutes leave a bit of a chemical pong :) hope this is of use.
