Me too Dennis, spent the afternoon on the reserve. Saw two dragon flies, snipe, meadow pippits, Stonechat, fox moth catapillar and a partridge in a pear tree, no, it was a frog. Smashing painting Dennis, sums up the experience nicely.

Thank you Susan. I had to make sure I got the colour of the sky just right on this one as the front is just green ish . The real sky was more overcast and grey.

Yes Dennis, although with the snipe you can almost stand on them before they take to the air. Makes me jump every time I put one up.

Is that you in the painting Dennis? Great work as usual and I like the absence of snow. Hate the white stuff, as I’m terrified I fall.
