Dennis I love the simplicity of this piece. I have done one similar in high contrast with the light and dark with a few poppies in oils.

Just looked up David Sharpe Dennis, if it’s the American chap....wow, what fabulous skies! Did you teach him how to do skies....haha. As you say lots said with very little in the painting, wonderfully atmospheric work. Thank you for pointing him out Dennis, I’ve put him on my favourites.
