That's a cracker Dennis

Very good Dennis, looks much better without the pylons!

Thank you Susan very much.

Thank you very much Stephen , yes the pylons didn't do much for the composition , simplified it overall and rearranged it and for me that's what makes it work .

Lovely painting again, Dennis, -that light in the sky catches the eye nicely.

So realistic Dennis. Can almost smell that grass.

Thank you Carole very much appreciated

Dennis you make it look and sound so easy, a masters touch you have.

Thank you very much Fiona it's just years of practice

Great painting. Like the addition of the dog walker.

Beautiful rendition of the picture, Dennis.

I always like to see your work, Dennis. It's really interesting to see the reference AND the painting. It's a lesson to us all that, in skilled hands, a mundane view can form the subject of a good painting.

This is great- love this- it's helpful to see how you make a beautiful painting from a somewhat ordinary scene Thanks

Thank you very much Cesare

Thank you Christine yes the walker gives a focal point.

Thank you Roger, yes everyday ordinary scenes can be the basis of a good painting it's important to plan and sort it out before you start , making thumbnails is a good way I personally make thumbnails in my head but it amounts to the same thing really. Thank you very much again Roger.

Thank you very much Rachel I agree I love to see the scene and the Painting of other artists , I think it's the best way to learn.

You are right Dennis you gave it magic

Fabulous - I really like the way you've omitted the fences and left a gap for the man and his dog to walk through - takes the eye forward.

Could happily meander there super composition Dennis.

Thank you very much Dennis hope your ok mate

Thank you very much Helen much appreciated

Thank you very much Lesley much appreciated
