Sizewell
I sketched this conglomeration of buildings, mainly sheds, from the sandy strip behind the dunes on Sizewell beach. If I had turned round, I would have been faced with the far more imposing spectacle of Sizewell nuclear power station! But this view held greater attraction for me. I as told that the house was in the ownership of the famous (controversial) artist/sculptor, Maggi Hambling MBE, but she didn’t show her face whilst I sat there with my sketch book at the ready!
