I recognised the ST influence straight away but I feel you haven't copied her style slavishly - you have added your own twist to it, which is great. I love both your works here.

Agree this works perfectly as a stand alone piece. I love it, amazing use of watercolour to achieve such a bright, zingy composition.

In our Watercolour Circle we are given monthly tasks in the style of various artists or movements. This painting was in response to the task for a Shirley Trevena type still life - not sure that I achieved that, but felt it worked as a stand alone piece!
