I could have sworn that this was watercolour and to learn that it is oil is wonderful. You have got so much lightness into this lovely painting - super clear colours and beautifully painted flowers.

Although I have painted the much favoured traditional purple iris many times, I was attracted to the soft pastels tones in these flowers for a change.
