Not something you normally do? Well I can only suggest, with an example as fine as this, that you should do more and charge a hefty price for them. I'm assuming it's a good likeness, but I can see it's a convincing painting, and I like the quite restrained lighting effect you've achieved without the painting being in any way dull: that highlight on the left side of his face is almost pure white, but whereas it could glare at you and look out of place, it just blends naturally from the darker flesh tone to the lightest; then you've got the darker part of the face, but full of colour, no mud. And I do like the tufts of hair on the right side of his head, just catching the light, and the reflected light on the curve of the jaw. It's a great piece of work.
