Lovely painting! Excellent Work! I think that many of us find oil pastel a challenge. Did you use coloured paper and did you spread it with a liquid medium?

Thank you for your comments. I used a brown pastelmat and used thinners for the underpainting. Once dry I then blended further layers with a combination of either a finger or colour shaper.
