Day 26, Prince

You've really kept up with this inktober challenge. I've enjoyed seeing your work, good strong drawing. And here's another.

Another great portrait Dawn. You’ve done so well with the challenge, I bet you’re exhausted! Not long to go!

Thank you Lewis and Fiona. Yes, it's tiring. I couldn't have done this if I had been going to work as well. One bonus of having a busted knee!

Blimey what have you done to your knee Dawn? Hope it’s repairable.

The dog ran into me and knocked me over, Fiona. Snapped my medial collateral ligament. Been in a leg brace for 4 weeks. Only another 2 to go!

Another super likeness, so sorry you are incapacitated Dawn but you produced these great portraits. Wish you a speedy recovery !

Thank you Carole. My art is keeping me sane.

Great Dawn. Is there anyone left you haven’t painted?

Only just got back to your answer Dawn.....bugger, I bet that hurt! A friend of mine experienced something similar, her German Shepard ran into the side of her knee, smashed her knee. After all the surgery etc, she’s back on her feet even if a bit wobbly, but she is eighty! Hope you get back to normal soon Dawn, without too much pain.

Thank you Carole. My dog is a German Shepherd cross, Fiona.

So today I'm playing catch up. This is day 26 for the Inktober prompt, Dark. Prince, So Dark. Another artist gone too soon.

About the Artist
Dawn Halliwell

I started painting in Jan 2016 after the death of my youngest sister. I found it great therapy and still do! I love experimenting with different techniques and media. I mainly work in pastel or oils for pet portraits, but I also enjoy doing ink portraits with the odd landscape thrown in for good…
