Frozen landscape

I love the cold feel of this picture; especially the sky; I just gone back to pastels too, very rewarding. Keep experiment.

I think this is terrific Dawn. It looks as though there is still a blizzard in the distance the way you have faded it towards the horizon. The sky looks as though there is lots more to come too! Not much sign of a struggle Dawn.

Thanks, Fiona. That's exactly what I was hoping for with the sky. My husband says it looks like there is a figure in the doorway. I can see what he means, but it was purely accidental!

I don't know why you think you have struggled with this Dawn, I think you have captured the feel of winter brilliantly.
