Thought that you weren't putting any more photographs on here. I dont really see the point. It's called "painters online".

After I got your message the other day, I took off all my photography and digital art, then later that day I was contacted by paintersonline themselves, and was told to put them back on as I have all types of art, photo's included, I mainly do pastels/watercolours but also do digital art of my pastels, and I also do book covers and have now 13 e-books, and a book already in print, I am known worldwide as an international artist, and I love to try all sorts of new things, photography included. I am sorry if you dont see the point of this, regards dawn

I thought POL was for photographs as well as they are art, but in another form. Room for all is what I say and this is a lovely photo - great building as well. Do you give permission ever for people to have a go at painting from your photos?

many thanks for liking this photograph, I know it seems strange to have a photography gallery too seeing this is a painters online, but I have been advised by my agent to try and do my main art (pastels) from my own photo's this in the future will cause less copyright problems, delighted that it caught your eye,dawn

Photographs can be an art form, so, unlike the some of the thought police you may have encountered, I keep an open mind. These arn't my cup of tea - but I look forward to you posting some pastles. But please - not too many in one go, or they will be after you again for knocking them off the front page! Two or three at a time will encourage more favourable comments.

many thanks tony, I have only 8 photo's up on site, and over 20 other pieces of art, mainly pastels, I hope you get a chance to have a peek at them, I thank you in advance. The reason I put up a few photo's is just to show what an all round artist I hve become, not only do I do mainly pastels and watercolours, but sketches too, since becoming more well known I was offered a book full of my own art, My art was spotted by a london based company, the book is now on sale worldwide. in order to do this book I wanted to do my own book cover image, since this book has become published I have been asked to do more book covers, and some were of digital art of my very own pastel images, so I basically expanded my type of art.. Last october I was asked if I could do some e-books, most full of my own pictures, photographs included alongside the pastel art. If I am to be seen as an artist on any site then I felt I should show a little of the stuff I do. I do now know I upset a few on here by posting photo's and I did in fact take them off, only to be told by painters online that I can have them up. So I put them back up, world wide I get just as many comments on my photos as I do on my other pieces of art. and on this site I have not had many of my pastels commented on lol but I am hoping that mybe in the future I will do so. I do know I caused a stir by putting a few more than I would normally do at once, but wanted a few pieces showing in my galleries on here. I love to receive comments even if they are bad, how else will I learn from them, I do so hope that the people I may have upset take the time to have a look at my main art, and will in future put up only a few at a time hehe dawn
