Thinking back to my naval days,myself and two pals hailed a taxi, and asked the driver to take us to the best beach on the island. A few miles on the driver dropped us off on the side of the road and said walk through that jungle for about 400 yards and you will get to beach. A tropical paradise awaited ,never to be forgotten, large tree ferns unbelievable flora and a multi colour parrot that landed on a tree festooned with incredible wild orchids.What days those were !!
