STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER

It looks slightly surreal David. I like it, even tho' I'm beginning to become blasé about strawbs - so many on our allotment! And if I start making jam there won't be time to paint! I particularly like the red/ brown you've used.

I think it's absolutely fantastic, David. The magical, yellow-brick-road feel is magnetic, as the viewer wanders through the various possibilities, and all the time the song is playing at the back of the mind. Good backstory too. Brian

I like your composition.

This is a nice bit of light relief David.

Another Beatles era painting found in the loft and cleaned up and overpainted..I know the song relates to the Liverpool orphanage in which John Lennon would have been sent, but thankfully his aunt Mamie adopted and cared for the young lad. I just love the surreal thought of fields of strawberries going on for ever and ever , with a few Blue Jays flying around !!
