Don't know if all the description came through so.. to continue.."Feel like i'm living in the space between the beauty and the pain, its the strangest thing".. I think we have all been in that place somewhere in our lives if we are but honest, i know my fight with cancer has left me there many times.. perhaps that's why great pieces of musical art that this band create show that whatever; there is still a beautiful place to be ?

I felt compelled to paint this as a tribute to who i consider to be the greatest band around at this time...The WAR ON DRUGS. It is based on a song from their forthcoming album.A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING. called Deepest Thing .their frontman Adam Garduciel, is an amazing songwriter/singer/guitarist, and produces masterpieces of vast spacial emotional and mind numbing musical landscapes. This song is really worth listening to ,and can be found on the internet, probably not to every ones taste but it is a thing of immense beauty, not the purille (with a few exceptions) excuses for popular music that litter the play lists.The band is lauded by the intelligent side of the music fraternity and had praise for their last album ,but still somehow virtually unrecognized, This is of course just my opinion , but this majestic piece of creative music is a beautiful example of the real talent out there. The lyrics say it all.." Feel like i'm living in the space between the beauty and
