THIS IS A PERSONAL AND MEMORY TRIP BACK TO MY YOUTH IN THE FABULOUS HEADY DAYS OF THE 1960'S , WHEN I CLIMBED COCONUT TREES TO GAIN THE DELICIOUS COLD MILK WITHIN. GREAT TIMES IN MY MERCHANT NAVY TRAVELS, AGE HAS NOT LOST THESE HAPPY TIME...., BEFORE THE WORLD GOT SOMEHOW & SOMEWHAT LESS SO !!

WOW - this is wonderful - so free and confident -I can tell how happy you were to paint this David

Great painting, David, everything goes together, colours, shapes, brush strokes.

I like how you have captured the grasses/ferns and the palms are wonderful against the blue David, a paradise.

Full of glorious colour and light. Exuberant.

Lovely warm scene to gaze on this chilly morning, good use of the various media, to give texture and colour.

I like it very much, so much detail, by no means an easy topic to have painted. I feel as if I am stood there
