MY PORTRAIT

MY PORTRAIT
Comments

This is a portrait of myself in my recording studio, painted by an amazingly talented fellow artist and long standing dear friend of mine Geoff Storer. Check out his gallery, i am sure he has the spirit of Norman Rockwell within his brush, although a traditionalist in his work we differ in styles as i venture into abstraction, but i have always been in awe of his work and incredible attention to detail. I feel honored to be a subject for his artistic prowess .

A portrait to be proud of David. Interesting how many painters are also musicians, I also play the guitar, perhaps it's how our minds are wired?

Agree with Stephen! A very good portrait. I'm nearly a musician!! I've been playing drums for 45 years!! And made a few acoustic guitars! Don't play that instrument very well though !! I definitely think art and music are connected. It sort of "feels" the same when you are doing it?
