Super, it reminds me that in the summer whilst on holiday we went a sheepdog trials day. It was such fun mainly I have to say because the dogs were not that well behaved and the owners were becoming more and more insistent in their commands.. The dogs were enjoying themselves too much and ignored them,,, I really laughed . Thanks for the reminder, this fellow is an absolute smasher. I bet he would have been one of the ones who went off, following his own plan.

I'm having a silly moment, which I am going to share with you. Saw a cartoon once; a news-stand on which was written "Sheepdog Trials Latest: Lassie Accused!". I feel better for that, and yet strangely shamed.... This is a great painting of a real character.
