Beautiful work and I especially like the composition that doesn't give us everything - just that little mystery of what the rest of the face and hair are like is intriguing and captures a viewers attention.

A lovely portrait David. Your painting skills are really impressive - the hair in particular is so well painted, and the shadows in the face are very effective. I am sure she must be very pleased with the portrait.
