Forrest Rays

I really like this very strong image and can imagine the pleasure you had painting it. The forest floor seems to glow with the colours you have used. I was looking over someone's shoulder at the David Hockney catalogue yesterday , and this work reminds me a little of some of his paintings - very exciting. Maybe I will be brave one of these days and try a palette knife on canvas myself!

I have used the palette knife a couple of times and enjoyed it, and must do more. Have yet to tackle a landscape with it, but just a matter of time. Great gallery here, so much to admire. Well done and keep on posting.
