Lovely painting with great recession David

Yes this is a great site isn't it ? I have found comments encouraging and helpful so I always try to make a comment myself. I do like the shapes in your picture and the way the road converges but am confused by the way some tulips appear to grow in the road. Maybe that is intentional but, if not, have you tried using acrylics because with them you cam make alterations very easily?

Thanks Dennis and Sian, my main effort in this trial was for recession, for which thank you for your kind comments. I have used Acrylics on occasions but find I need a lot more practice.

PS. You are correct Sian, the tulips in the road were intended to be stray bulbs that came up near by, but unfortunately I did not add the stems. LOL. But well spotted.

Holland or Lincolnshire David? I lived in the Lincolnshire fens for a few years and at this time of year this is what some of the fields looked like. It reminded me so much of spring in the Fens! Lovely.

If I remember it is some where around Lincoln, a photo taken when visiting a friend in Lincolnshire, although there is a lot of artistic licence used here. LOL. :)
