Like it, like it a lot, just my type of style. The background balances the forground beautifully, even though its detailed it doesn't take away the complexity, colour and texture of the wall, gate and pathway. I find my eyes lead from the wall to the shadow, the fence and finally the building and foliage in the distance and back again. Great work.

Behind the cathedral, an alleyway twists and turns between walls and gardens, and through archways. About halfway along is this ancient wall containing an almost equally ancient doorway. Winchester seems to be full of little corners like this, just waiting to be painted.
