The keen of eye will also see that this is a very nice watercolour David, in fact the water is painted very confidently.

A practice piece Ive just done and the keen of eye will see that the painting is confused...I tried for a certain effect, failed, tried to rescue it. And why not? Pushing paint around is fun and every stroke seems to teach me something.
