A well used scene David. done it myself. Good effort, just try and achieve greater contrasts

The composition is good David sort of peeking down on the house. I get the feeling that you are a bit apprehensive of your watercolours , don’t want to mess up syndrome !. You can paint over what you have done when the first coat is done. So try strengthening the fore ground use that grassy bank as a frame to look through . Strengthen your shadows in the cliffs and along the waters edge ,do you have any indigo ? It’s great for shadow, possibly add some violet and brown. . Just play with contrast.and see what happens.😊.
