Well done for posting David, the first one is a bit nerve wracking. playing around with the materials is what it's about, this is a good start.

Watercolour pencils aren't the easiest medium to use, David I think you have a good job, keep up the good work.

Thanks for the encouragement. They are good fun to use, but as you say, as difficult or easy as any other medium. At the end of the day, a skilled practitioner can produce art from bits of old charcoal, and a fool rubbish from the finest oil paint! Onward! David

Happy attempt David . Well done you, she says patronisingly , I like W / C pencils , they have an amount more control than a brush. Just enjoy whatever you are using. Oh I think her denim skirt is great.

Not a medium I have used in many years as I found it tough and not immediate enough, but this works exceptionally well.

By the way, which Spice is it?

Marjorie...oddly, not a Spice at all. She was a real girl I saw whilst out and about several years ago and couldnt resist the furtive photograph of her torso. D

Water colour pencils, first attempt. This is a copy of a photograph I took a few years ago. The word "fun" hasnt really worked, even though it was not exactly perfect on the girls shirt in real life.
