Great big blowsy sky. Here in Wales we rarely see wonderful BIG skies, because of our mountains. This is lovely.

Hi David, you are on the right track. Just as Robert said about your other painting I would suggest you add a little colour to your whites. As you are trying to direct the sunlight to the trees and bushes in the foreground the white highlights appear to be too strong.

Love the clouds and the distant light in the sky, David. I agree with Robert and Pat about changing the white highlights on the trees to a softer shade, but it is a beautiful, sunny landscape, well painted.

Thanks Pat & Jane for your input, I will try and keep that tube of white under control. Regards David.
