Foggy night in Lambeg

Like your work especially as I am a model railway enthusiast myself.

Thank you Pat.

Another super painting, David. All your paintings are so meticulously applied, with so much interest, and so much skill. That's a good billow of smoke you've got there, I remember them well, always coming home with smuts on my face!

Thank you kindly Ann.

Smashing work of a subject I love David

So atmospheric, I remember this age! I can almost smell that steam.

It's 1953 and a Cork Dublin Belfast express shakes the platforms of my home station of Lambeg with only a few miles to go. The tail light of a local service to Lisburn disappears into the gloom and the last few passengers make their way over the footbridge and into the foggy night
