It would be interesting to trace the original painter, because it looks distantly familiar - could be the scene itself, but I think it's the painter; just can't place the style. Anyway! Very good use of light and shade in this, and I like the understated effects, especially in the bank of trees on the hill on the right and the water and mud in the foreground.
