Thanks Fiona and Spencer for the comments, I am pleased with the results. Spencer you asking how I captured the mane. I used Derwent's black and white pencils on black paper for the mane I first used the white pure pencil then I used the black Forrest pencil to draw over about half of the white mane hair and it resulted in the green hue which I thought was an interesting addition to the drawing.
